Quality Measures and Evidence-based Guidelines

Quality measures help quantify processes, outcomes, patient perceptions, and/or risk-share, with the goal of providing high-quality health care. Measures drive the standardization of care by identifying differences in care delivery and outcomes.

Quality measures are becoming increasingly important as our health care system shifts from traditional fee-for-service toward value-based care and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) quality-based reimbursement models.

The links below include the latest quality measures for cirrhosis care as well as a link to the AASLD.org for more information around managing chronic liver disease.

All of the resources on this site are written to CMS guidelines for font and readability and support the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) guidelines below. LIVERHEALTHNOW is committed to providing members with the latest CMS and AASLD updates as they are released to help members stay aligned with the latest quality care.
